Simon Pow
UK-based creator making honest, hands-on videos about cameras, photography, filmmaking and 3D printing — for people who actually buy the gear.
Real advice from behind the camera
I'm Simon, a photographer and video creator from the UK. I've been on YouTube since 2012, sharing what I've learnt shooting, editing and — increasingly — 3D printing the tools I use every day. My audience trusts me because I test properly and tell them the truth: what's worth buying, what isn't, and why.
Off YouTube I run SFP Creative, producing commercial video for clients, and I create photo and video content professionally in my day-to-day work. That means brands get a creator who understands production quality as well as reach.
Three content pillars
Every video sits in a high-intent, purchase-driven niche — viewers arrive researching what to buy or how to get better results.
Photography & Camera Gear
Hands-on reviews, accessories and real-world setup guides — Canon, Insta360, DJI, Peak Design, SmallRig and more.
Video Editing & Filmmaking
Practical tutorials and workflow tips for Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and audio gear that make better videos, faster.
3D Printing
The channel's fastest-growing pillar — buying guides, upgrades and honest takes that regularly break 40K views.
Who's watching
A focused, high-value audience of hobbyists and prosumers — the people who research thoroughly and spend on gear.
Age & gender
Top markets
Over a quarter of views come from YouTube Search — my content keeps working long after publishing, so sponsored placements keep earning impressions for months, not days.
Videos that are working right now
A snapshot of recent performers. Engagement runs high — top videos hit 3–4% like rates with lively comment sections.
How I work with brands
Flexible formats to suit your goals — built around content my audience already trusts.
Dedicated review
A full video built around your product, with proper hands-on testing and real-world use.
Integration
A natural, clearly-disclosed segment within a relevant video on a topic my audience is already searching for.
Shorts & social
Punchy short-form for YouTube Shorts and cross-posting, ideal for launches and awareness.
My review policy
My opinions are always my own. Sponsors get no say in the verdict, and never see a video before it goes live. That independence is exactly why my audience trusts a recommendation — and why a positive review from me actually means something.
Got a product that fits?
If your gear is something I'd genuinely recommend to my audience, I'd love to hear about it. Rates available on request.
